I Got My First Batch of Film Scans!

A couple of weeks ago, I sent off some film to Memphis Film Lab to be developed and scanned. This was my first batch of film since I found some of my dad’s old cameras in mid April.

First up, some Portra 400 from the Pentax 645. I only got a few shots on this roll and the batteries died and I manually wound the film over so I at least didn’t lose the few shots I had taken.

Only a few shots, but hey, they look good!

Next up, some Fuji Superia 400 in a Nikon FG. Here I’m just posting some of my favorites, because lots of them were me learning to use the camera, not very good. But I’m getting the hang of it.

Next up, some Fomapan 200 from the Pentax 645. I was really happy with this film for the price (under $10 for a roll of 120 film)

I actually also sent off a couple of rolls from the Olympus OM2n that I should be getting back soon, but it’s nice to see these cameras are, you know, actually working.

I’m very much still a noob in terms of film photography but I am starting to get a feel for what I like, so that’s rad. I’ll post more pics and they come in.
